Ryoshi has proven that a Japanese restaurant can serve excellent sushi, sukiyaki, teriyaki and tataki in a laid-back social setting with live music, eventually attracting a more global clientele rather than Japanese-only diners. Ryoshi features live bands every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Among the island’s most popular Jazz soloists and bands include Ryoshi’s quintet, Nancy Ponto and The Soul Brothers, the Rio Sidik Quartet, Afro Spirit, Bridge Ensemble, Jazz Path, Afronesia, and nationally acclaimed singer Tri Utami singing to the tunes of Bali’s famous Tropical Transit world music band.

Cafe Havana, Ubud
It is not just a lively cantina serving Cuban Caribbean cuisine & Cuba’s legendary cocktails. Laughing Buddha Bar
It is one of the liveliest spots to enjoy live music while in Ubud. The island’s greatest jazz and blues performers play regular gigs at Laughing Buddha, with a weekly agenda comprising The Bali Blues Brothers and The Mushroom Blues Band playing on Mondays with powerful lead vocalist Imelda Joplin. The Onik Blues Rock Duo takes to the stage on Tuesdays and hot Latin grooves from prominent Balinese band Tropical Transit fill the air on Saturday nights with the Buena Tierra band gets the audience moving on Fridays with another round of Latin tunes. Laughing Buddha is also the frequent venue of choice among local musicians for their latest album launches, where they also throw in a live gig.

Hard Rock Centerstage
Centerstage is Hard Rock Hotel Bali’s one- of-a-kind entertainment venue with a raised stage above a bar where you can enjoy drinks while watching live bands up-close. Bands play from rock to rhythm ‘n’ blues, and hip- hop to the most current singles playing on the charts and airwaves. Hard Rock’s ‘band of the month’ alternates between established performers, including Hard Rock’s long- performing Siluet Band that usually plays from retro ‘70s rock, ‘80s dance to the latest Top 40.
