How about some action after sunbath ing on the beach? One of the best ways is to try rafting on Bali rivers! There are – three rivers on the island suitable for white water rafting. Melangit river is in Klungkung area, and the rafting track is 8 kilometers long. It has the shortest track of all rivers but also a rapid stream and grade 4 for rapidness (advanced), so you will feel adrenaline while paddling and rafting through tropical forests of Bali for sure!
Telaga Waja and Ayung rivers are favorite among visitors. Telaga Waja is located in Karangasem and has the longest rafting track of 16 kilometers which can be finished in 3 hours. Mostly the class of Telaga Waja is 1 to 2, which means easy and novice, but at some places, it can be 3 and 4 – intermediate and advanced. It is fun for the whole family, but your children should be over nine years old to go rafting on this river.
Ayung River has set itself in Ubud area, and it is suitable for novice and intermediate rafters. But the access to the river is not that easy, and you will need strong legs to get to the starting point. It has 10 kilometers long route, and you will need around two hours to conquer it.
