CANYONING–adrenalin in your veins

Have you heard about canyoning yet? It is the sport that mixes adrenaline and natural beauty by trekking through gorges, waterfalls, and giant rock pools. You can explore canyons by rappelling, rafting, and waterfall jumping. You will be scrambling, abseiling, cliff jumping and swimming and need some basic knowledge about rope rigging skills to be safe.

The best place to get started with canyoning is to be a part of an organized group. You will get essential canyoning kit and an experienced guide to show you all the ropes and how to use them. You will learn a lot of basic techniques and safety tips from your first couple of trips, and your guide should be able to point you in the direction of good local spots to try out when you’re ready.
